Original Paintings

While this site primarily showcases prints of my works, many people want an original. I can't say that I find fault in this way of thinking. With an original, nothing stands between you as the collector and the artist's original vision. Original art is where you travel beyond decorating and enter the realm of absorbing intent and emotion.

The paintings you see come raw, without frames. (Although you can order a painting framed if you desire.) Many artists insist upon doing the framing themselves. Often claiming that the frame is part of the vision. I see the frame as the interface between the intent of the artist and the taste of the collector. The frame is what allows a piece to fit on your walls. I feel that decision is for you to make, not me.
